Rosie’s enthusiasm over her baby sister, Buttercup, wanes as the toddler grows older and becomes a nuisance. When Buttercup attempts to take pos session of Rosie’s highly prized pet crickets, Rosie can no longer tolerate her little sister’s self-centeredness. Subsequently, Rosie devises a near-perfect plan to remedy the situation by giving Buttercup away to a neighbor. But Rosie’s tranquility is short-lived when her heart pines for the companion ship of her little sister. She then prepares to make the ultimate sacrifice to get Buttercup back.
